Hmm… maybe they weren’t the imaging portion of the sonar device, maybe it’s the emitters. The eyes emit the sound, the images get put together back in the lair, and Lucius could report to Batman what’s being imaged by the computer. If this is the case… why the hell would he install them over his eyes? Thtat’s just stupid.
