In the end of batman the dark knight does the morgan [lucius] leaves the batman?

Lucious Fox said during the movie, that he would resign since Batman’s gadgets are going too far by interfering other people’s privacy. I’m not sure because he said “as long as these machines are at Wayne Enterprises, I won’t be” so his destroying the machines by his own hands could imply that he is willing to return.
and the line “you either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain” is said by Harvey Dent.

After he used the sonar system, he enters his name (Lucius Fox) and it self destructs (as long as that machine existed he would not work, so no he does not resign). Harvey Dent says “You either die as a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become a villain”. Harvey Dent then becomes Two Face (burns on half of his body, and flips a 2 headed coin). If you have any more batman question, let me know

Lucius doesn’t resign, because the sonar system is destroyed. He says “As long as this machine is at Wayne Enterprises, I won’t be.” When he entered his name, and the machine got destroyed, he smiled. So, using what he said, the machine no longer works, so he stays with Wayne. The “hero/villain quote” was said by Harvey Dent (pre-Two-Face) when he is eating dinner with Wayne, the Russian Ballerina, and Rachel. The quote is: “You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.” Hope that helps!
