how can i make my vocals sound less thick after recording them?

i use sonar 7 and it does not have an effect option for this, is there anything like a reverse stereo widener or something i can make my vocals sound tighter with>>>

    The key to getting a clear vocal sound is usually by backing off on the low eq a bit. I’m sure Sonar has a way to change the low eq.

    Hi, mr, mr,

    Try accessing the EQ on your vocal track and reducing 400Hz (medium wide bandwidth) by about -9db to -12db.

    That should do it.
