She had actually had the shot and was on the pill when she conceived her 3rd child. It happen to me. Its not 100% (pretty close but not quite there). My advice would be to always use another form of contraceptive as well as the pill. There is still a .01% chance of it... However low, its still a chance. If you're not ready to have a baby, I wouldnt gamble with that 99.99% crap. Wrap it up or dont do it at all. I know from experience, I took my pill every morning at 5:30 am, never fail. My daughter is now 7, i think it was the pill I was on, I've talked with a lot of girls on here that had this happen to them on the same pill (ortho tri-cyclin), but there is a chance with every pill or they would be 100%.
