With my first child i was about four maybe five months. It feels like a flutter in your stomach almost like a butterfly. It's hard to know exactly in your first pregnancy because you've never felt it before. It's always exciting just the thought of it isn't it!

I first felt my baby move was at 21 weeks. Maybe there were some movement before that but I didn't realize it until the 21st week. It was so amazing. I never stop talking to him since the I felt the first move until the very last moment of my pregnancy. He's 8 months now.

With my first I was 4 months. If you think you felt it, now you will be more in tune with the stuff that's happening down there. If you feel it a couple more times you'll know for sure. With my second, I felt it at 12wks because when it happened, I knew the feeling and knew what it was. Congrats! Enjoy the flutters now cause the kick in the ribs during the middle of the night in a few months aren't so inviting!

Usually in the 4th month of pregnancy you can feel what is called quickening. At first it feels like a soft flutter, like a butterfly is loose in your tummy, but later on you will definitely know its the baby, when he kicks you in the ribs or the bladder. Congratulations on the pregnancy. I hope you have an easy one and deliver a healthy child.

Usually about 15-20 weeks but everyone is different, for a long time I thought I was just feeling gas bubbles and then when they did the ultrasound the tech said did you just feel the baby move? and i was suprised to realize that that was what it was
