Zero on maternity clothes. I also work in a Corporate Office and I wore empire dresses, 2 regular size 8 elastic black pants and 1 regular elastic navy pant (size 8). I matched them with long vests, and flowy vintage-like blouses.

I work in a casual office, so I just bought clothes a size or so bigger. My own clothes were great till about 6 months. Just buy a couple o pairs of slacks, a skirt (in basic colors) and some maternity tops…maybe a jacket…although your regular ones shouldn’t be too bad.

I spent $26 on just one pair of maternity jeans, and personally i hate them!!! im 36 weeks and i find it so much more convenient to get sweat pants or even dress pants that are stretchy with an elastic waist. how much one spends during their pregnancy really depends on how thrifty and or how high maintenance they are. all of the sweat pants i bought i will still be able to wear once i have my baby, for those lazy days, however my maternity jeans will never come in handy, well not till my next pregnancy and that’ll be a few years down the road lol
i didnt spend too much on maternity pants or tops but i made sure to invest in some good sport bras!!!!

My job positions requires me to dress casual too. When I was pregnant, I spend about $200-$300 at a maternity store called Motherhood. I’d say it was worth it because they had the exact style of clothes I was looking for and the quality of their clothes are good (not cheap stuff). If I were to conceive again, I will definately recommend visiting Motherhood. Fairly priced for good quality/casual clothing! I would have spent more, but didn’t want to lose my mind in their. The clothes I bought lasted me a good 2-3 weeks before having to repeat an outfit. Plus it was spring/summer so there were alot of spring time sales.

I didn’t buy maternity clothes the first time. The second time I needed them for about the last 2 months, and I spent about $60.00.

For a casual office setting, you can get get a couple of pairs of pants and maybe 5 or 6 tops for $100.00 or less at Wal-Mart or K-Mart or somewhere like that. That’s what I did, because I was not about to spend a lot of dough on clothes I would only need for a few months.

I also work in an office and started out by simply buying dressy pants with an elastic waist band. I’m 31 and a half weeks now and they still fit me. I gained mostly in my stomach so I had to invest in shirts….www.motherhood.com has a great selection of clothes, especially when they go on sale. I bought 3 shirts that were each under $7. So far I haven’t even spent $100. Also, the fashion now is mostly tunic style and empire waisted tops, so it fits us pregnant women perfectly! I just moved up one size, from a small to a medium.

I tried to get clothes from friends, but I, too, work in an office and needed a bit of nicer clothes. Plus, I am small and a lot of the maternity clothes didn’t fit me immediately. I actually had to start out with small maternity clothes and then buy more mediums. So far, I have probably spend around $500. Also, I have found that the motherhood outlet store has really really cheap maternity clothes, even nice business attire. You should try that.

You can find some good deals at times at stores. But most clothes run from 40 and up. Depending on how well made they are.

Well in my office I have to dress nice and profesional. Im also a very skinny girl, so normally I like my regular clothes to fit nice and tight. So now that im pregnant of course NOTHING fits cuz my clothes is so small! I have waisted alot of money but I dont buy maternity clothes, I go to my regular stores and buy bigger sizes and pants and shirts that look like stretchy and elastic. Maternity stores are really expensive, where instead you can go to your regular store and buy bigger clothes thats on sale and stuff. Normally its the bigger sizes that are always on sale and clearance! So goodluck, I see no point of buying expensive maternity clothes, its a waste of money! Goodluck =-)

I spent about $200 on eBay. i bought a huge lot of those that covered everything i needed. it was much cheaper and the clothes were really cute.
