I bought these headlights for a 1994 Civic. They are black halo projector headlights and I was looking to put HID bulbs in them. I’m not sure if these will work with HID. I’ve heard different things, some say they will others say they won’t. Any help would nice. Thanks.

Need some military Oppinons on a book idea?

Friday, February 20th, 2009
markwillstar asked:

It is the near future. A crisis between Pakistan and India is growing into a war. The use of a small scale nuclear device (nuclear tipped artillery shell) has caused concerns across the globe. However many nations are not ready to get involved in such a situation in fear of a full scale nuclear war between the two nations.

The President agrees to send a RRF (Rapid Response Force) into the area, since the military is stretched so badely at the time (iraq, afghanistan) but is unwilling (yet) to get more involved.

A small unit of marines is in India but is not able to get to the border because India does not want them to get involved right now. They will be stuck a good distance from the fighting.

Meanwhile (and this is where the story really takes place), a traitor Russian General has just made a deal with China for some very advanced technology torpedoes. Code name “Turtle” they are undetectable to sonar.

China gets the torpedoes and launches a surprise attack against the US fleet
heading to India. We then start to learn there is more to this crisis then just a fued between India and Pakistan.

China uses the crisis (well they were starting to before their attack) to put more troops along the Nepal-India-Pak borders.

The US navy is devastated (at least 2-3 carriers are sunk or badely damaged along with several surface ships and submarines).

Now Asia has only their troops plus what US and other countrie’s troops that are stationed all ready there.

However those numbers are low, and China uses this to attack S. Korea (with n. korea), Taiwan, The Spratley islands, and puts pressure on Japan to stay out of the war.

Japan accepts the fact that they should stay out and forces US forces to withdraw from their islands in order to keep peace, and the US must find new bases and ways to fight a war they have little chance at winning or geting new troops to.
I got a lot of the idea for it from the fact that China also is like Japan in the 30’s and 40’s needing outside resources (fuel, food and such), since they import some 70% or more of their natural resources. And a invasion of Kazahkstan and Kajistatn is also part of it.

It would come dwon to NATO and the US bleeding them of their fuel as they stop many attempts to capture and hold oil areas.
and what does that have to do with any of what i said?

Why isnt my MIDI device coming up on my music software?

Friday, February 20th, 2009
directoreurope asked:

I have a casio CTK-631 keyboard, which i have connected properly to a MIDI interface (one of those little external boxes, not the big ones). It comes up as an audio device in device manager, but no MIDI device pops up in cubase or sonar. It worked before but now nothing comes up.

Thank you :-) It seems to work on my laptop but not my computer

i heard that the navy does research on dolphin for sonar and stuff, and that dolphins are used to guard ships against enemy divers…not too sure about that one…but anyway, i was wondering what the rate was, and if there is a degree required to do it or anything like that

Does anyone have an answer to feedback from voice chats?

Tuesday, February 17th, 2009
deedle9535 asked:

When my friend and I do voice chats on Yahoo IM there is a lot of “sonar” sounding feedback. Most of the feedback sound is on that end, not mine. We have moved speakers around, changed mic position, adjusted volumes, etc., but it still does it. Any suggestions or answers to the problem?
